BioHere are some little known "Proanaband Facts" you might not know:
1. I am very politically active and am addicted to talk radio
2. I volunteer regularly for charity
3. I have literally re-built the inside of a house before and am a pro at faux finishing walls
4. I cook for my dogs. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I cook for them. My oldest lab started having seizures and so I started doing research on how to help them without drugs. He used to have them once a month and now it has been over six months and he hasn't had one!
5. I am on a mission to grow all of my own food except for like Diet Dr. Pepper and salt. Seems like too much trouble when I can by it at the store right?
6. I have this little green parachuting martian staring at me right now as I type. My husband won it for me at the local pizza buffet arcade and I have it sitting on my computer. He also won me this HUGE pink ring which I wear often...what can I say..it's pink!
7. I write all of the lyrics and music for my band.
8. I used to be a professional stage actress
9. I won the coveted title of "National Free styling Champion" for clogging. Did I just write that??? Alright-it's out there now and NO ONE is allowed to give me any crap! haha
10. I sew-made my whole wardrobe one year
11. I CAN back a trailer guys!
12. I burned over 50,000 Quiznos coupons in my back field. Guess I should explain...I was managing this marketing promotion and corporate sent the wrong items. They didn't know what to do with them and since lighters are not allowed in LA, the thought of burning them never occurred to them. I did the honors and took a ton of pics because they said it was such "a novel idea!" Go figure...I told them "that's how we do it here in Texas people!"
13. I ALWAYS have my toenails painted a very cute color no matter if I'm floating a river, fishing or burning things in my back field.
14. One time, my husband and I drove our 1970 VW bas in the back field and parked it on a hilltop behind my house. We ran a reeelly long extension cord to it and carried the TV and DVD player out there. Next we rented seasons 1-6 of The Sopranos, brought a huge bottle of whiskey and diet coke out there, splurged and ordered in a BUNCH of pizza and proceeded to spend the entire weekend in there. The neighbors thought we were crazy but it was awesome!!
15. I don't need to spend money to have a good time.
16. I LOVE sushi, CiCi's pizza and Mexican short ribs with pico and lime. If I ever have to binge-that's what it's on!!!
17. I can't stand Chris Matthews.
18. Every year in July we hold a huge festival out at our place. Tons of people come over and we have multiple great bands (well known ones too it's pretty cool), a stocked tiki bar, everyone swims, eats food and camps out. We give away cool stuff too-It's a blast!
19. I've been skinny all of my life and have been "known" to be "the skinny one" which has always made me very aware of my body image. I guess that's both good and bad.
20. I once was very addicted to the scale so now I don't own one.
21. My lowest weight was 92lbs. Now I'm at 107 and trying to get down to my usual 100.
22. I write songs about proana but in lyrics that only you would understand. It's kind of like a code. Non-ana/mias won't get it and just listen to the music but you all will know what I'm singing about which is sort of sneeky, but it gives me a thrill. Sort of a "fuck you" to all the people that have told me I'm too skinny or I should gain weight. I can sing my f-offs and they never know it! I know it's childish but I get a kick out of it! haha
23. I love to wear my husbands 4h grade football jersey
24. I took Miss Oklahoma fishing and we dipped this peach flavored snuff while wearing movie star sunglasses. Needless to say we got some crazy stares from the guys behind the counter and a lot of honks from passing cars it was rich!
